discounts, disorganization, and Dancing for Daniella.

today was the nationwide Goodwill 50% off sale. hallelujah! i went to two different Goodwill stores to cash in on the savings, and i emerged with two giant bags of stuff. i was just searching for some fabrics with different, interesting patterns and textures. i'm sure the girl at the checkout was asking herself why i would be buying such ridiculous, random garments. some of them really are hilarious, but soon they will transform into sweet, special treasures. i even bought a tiny bird's nest. ha. stick that in your hair, world! maybe?

i also spent most of tonight organizing and rearranging my work area. everything is finally in its place, and i have more room to work, which will hopefully mean more productivity. my living room is no longer a disorganized disaster zone.

i am also so happy to announce that i am going to be involved with another charity. my cousin jordan takes ballet class with a girl whose friend passed away from complications with her cancer treatment. my aunt pammy asked if i would donate some pieces to raise money for the foundation that was created in the girl's honor called Dancing for Daniella. the money goes to fund research. i am going to create some pieces that are suitable for young ballet dancers. probably some pretty, sparkly bobby pins. you know...girly stuff. i'll post pictures as i finish them.
